Document 42 C/9.I is a factual, though non-exhaustive, report of the UNESCO Executive Board on key actions, decisions, and working methods during 2022–2023, covering five regular sessions and one special session. It reviews the monitoring of the implementation of the 41 C/5 (PIR) programme and outlines the Organization’s priority areas of work, including education (SDG4 / Education 2030, TVET 2022–2029, literacy), culture (Mondiacult 2022, Culture2030 Indicators), science (Open Science, Global Geoparks, the SIDS Strategy), as well as social and human sciences, including anti-racism initiatives, the MOST 2022–2029 and Fit for Life programmes, the regulation of neurotechnologies, and the activities of the Youth Forum.
