Annotation
The resolution promotes meaningful and inclusive youth participation in disarmament and non-proliferation. It encourages Member States and UN actors to support youth engagement through dialogue platforms, mentoring, internships and related initiatives; to develop policies and programmes facilitating youth involvement; to strengthen education and capacity-building; and to use the Youth4Disarmament digital platform. It also requests reporting on measures to promote youth empowerment.
