Annotation
The resolution urges inclusive policies to prevent and reduce homelessness, including in the aftermath of COVID‑19. It links homelessness to poverty, inequality, jobs and affordable housing, stresses disaggregated data, strengthened social protection and housing measures, and recognizes heightened risks for adolescents and youth, women and other vulnerable groups. It also promotes digital inclusion, intergenerational programmes and follow‑up reporting by the Secretary‑General.
