Annotation

Law No. HO-60-N of the Republic of Armenia introduces amendments to the legal framework governing local self-government in the city of Yerevan with a specific focus on youth policy. It defines the powers of municipal authorities to establish and support youth centres, implement youth programmes, and organise youth-oriented activities. The law formally requires the inclusion of youth needs and participation in Yerevan’s strategic, annual, and long-term development programmes. It aims to strengthen the role of young people in urban governance and to align municipal policies with the national youth policy framework.
