The article reviews scientific research and development, presents a statistical portrait of researchers in the Brest Region, the structure of organizations that carried out scientific research and development by sectors of activity in 2022. The distribution of the number of researchers by fields of science as well as the structure of internal current expenditures on scientific research and development by fields of science are presented graphically.
