On November 17, delegates and distinguished guests honored the memory of those who died during the Great Patriotic War by laying flowers at Victory Square. Participating in the ceremony were Olga Boronenko, Head of the Department of Social Policy and Information Support of the Standing Committee of the Union State; Pavel Alekso, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union; Anastasia Barinova, Minister of Youth Policy of the Tula Region; and other representatives of relevant federal agencies implementing youth policy.

Sergey Glazyev, State Secretary of the Union State, and Ekaterina Petrutskaya, Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus, also sent greetings to the forum.

At the plenary session, participants discussed the development of the Union State's youth policy. Experts noted the role of joint work between relevant agencies and key youth movements of the two countries and proposed transforming the forum into a permanent expert platform and forming a unified organizing committee.

The forum included:

- a discussion panel on "The Role of Youth in Preserving Historical Memory";

- a section of young analysts of the Union State and a section on "Youth Participation in Building the Future of the Union State";

- a workshop to develop the Union State's Youth Policy Strategy.

The key agenda item for the forum was the discussion of the draft Youth Policy Strategy for the Union State.

The platform is primarily aimed at developing youth cooperation. The participation of public organizations and universities from Russia and Belarus plays a leading role in this.

The forum is annually organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, the Association of Public Associations "National Council of Youth and Children's Associations of Russia", the Basic Organization of the CIS Member States for Work with Youth (RTU MIREA), the public association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" and the Republican Youth Center of the Republic of Belarus, with the support of partner organizations and regional agencies.

This year, the forum was held with the support of the Government of the Tula Region.
