On May 29, in Minsk, the working group of the Council for Cooperation in Education of the CIS Member States agreed on a draft Program for the implementation of the Concept for the Formation of a Unified (Common) Educational Space of the CIS.
Representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and the CIS Executive Committee took part in the meeting.
The program will replace the current document and provides for the following:
- development of unified legal mechanisms for cooperation in education;
- use of the scientific and technical potential of national systems;
- creation of common requirements for the training of scientific personnel;
- improvement of quality control of vocational education;
- development of distance learning with AI and data analytics;
- creation of multimedia educational programs.
Following the meeting, it was decided to send the draft document to the relevant departments and the IPA CIS Standing Commission on Science and Education. The next meeting of the working group is scheduled for August-September 2025.
