The development of the project was discussed at a meeting of the permanent seminar at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia.
The event was attended by:
- deputies of the Parliamentary Assembly;
- representatives of the Standing Committee of the Union State, ministries and departments of Belarus and Russia, including representatives of the government of the Smolensk region;
- experts in the field of youth policy and heads of youth organizations of the two countries.
During the meeting, issues of implementing the Roadmap of the authorities of the two countries and national public associations in the field of youth policy for 2025-2027 and proposals for the Youth Policy Strategy of the Union State for the medium term were considered.
Based on the results of the meeting, a document was prepared containing practical recommendations aimed at developing the Strategy.
Let us recall that on December 8, 1999, the Treaty on the Establishment of the Union State was signed and the Action Program of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation for the implementation of the provisions of the Treaty on the Establishment of the Union State was adopted.
