Russia chooses the "Youth Capital of Russia", the "City of Youth", and the "Leader of the Young"

You can choose your cities on Gosuslugi until December 19; you can vote for the "Youth Leader" on the Rosmolodezh channel in the MAX messenger, also until December 19.

In the "Youth Capital of Russia 2026" category: Vologda, Salekhard, Smolensk, Syktyvkar, Tomsk, and Chelyabinsk.

In the "City of Youth 2026" category: Vyksa, Yelets, Novy Urengoy, Norilsk, Staraya Russa, and Sheregesh.

The winning cities will receive support from Rosmolodezh and partners in 2026, host major events, and become the main venues for Youth Day.

The results will be announced on December 20, 2025, at the "Time of the Young" award ceremony at the National Center "Russia."

- The status of "Youth Capital of Russia" will be awarded starting in 2022: Nizhny Novgorod in 2023, Moscow and Vladivostok in 2024, and Omsk and Perm in 2025.

- The Azerbaijani city of Gabala was named "Youth Capital of the CIS" in 2025. The status was awarded to the city by decision of the Council of CIS Heads of Government and transferred from Tashkent, the "Youth Capital of 2024."
