The Youth Development Index is a consolidated index for analyzing the state youth policy being implemented and the level of youth development in key areas.
Areas:
- education and knowledge;
- health and well-being;
- employment and job opportunities;
- political participation;
- civic activity;
- leisure organization;
- security.
The index will be measured by 32 special indicators that will help:
▪️ timely identify problems in the implementation of youth policy;
▪️ find ways to improve the lives of young people;
▪️ take into account the opinions of young people themselves;
▪️ compare the results with international indicators.
Data will be collected annually until May 30. After analysis, the results will be sent to government agencies and published. The data will be included in the national report "Youth of Kazakhstan".
The new rules come into force on May 23, 2025 in accordance with the Order of the Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 2, 2025 No. 207-NK.
The Youth Development Index will help create more effective youth support programs and improve conditions for the development of the young generation of Kazakhstan.
