The latest meeting of the Youth Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member States was held in Minsk and dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
Representatives from:
- Azerbaijan;
- Belarus;
- Kazakhstan;
- Kyrgyzstan;
- Russia;
- Tajikistan;
- Uzbekistan participated in the meeting.
The delegates discussed a number of issues related to the development of international youth cooperation, including:
- the role of youth in preserving historical memory;
- adopted an Appeal to CIS Youth in connection with the 80th anniversary of the Victory;
- the international project "Youth Capital of the CIS."
The meeting also considered developing recommendations for improving the national legislation of CIS member states on state youth policy.
