The Children of Kazakhstan program has been approved

The program will combine all measures to protect the rights of children/adolescents in the country. The document includes 158 new measures for 2026-2030 and provides:

- strengthening the interaction of government agencies;

- determining the development of state policy in the interests of children/adolescents in the coming years;

- compliance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Key areas:

- health protection;

- Infrastructure development;

- digital tracking of the child/teenager's route;

- online security;

- improvement of legal protection and social support;

- Updating laws in the field of children/adolescents' rights.

According to statistics from 2025, there are about 7 million children/adolescents in Kazakhstan (6,902,492 people), which is 34% of the total population. Over the past 10 years, the number of children/teenagers has increased by 1.5 million.
