The competition is addressed to specialists of public libraries of Russia under 35 years of age.
"The Future of Libraries" helps to define professional prospects, reveal leadership, creative and imaginative potential, and also creates a platform for the exchange of successful practices of personal and team development in the profession.
The competition was established by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The organizer is the Russian State Library for Young People. General partner — the Russian State Library.

- leader of the new generation;
- community leader.
- Applications are submitted until September 30, 2025 inclusive.
