The meeting was attended by members of the Council from the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the basic organizations of the CIS member states on working with youth, on developing youth entrepreneurship, on developing the volunteer movement and on scientific and methodological support for the youth volunteer movement, the CIS Executive Committee.
During the meeting, 12 issues were considered, including the following:
- implementation of the Action Plan for 2025-2026 for the implementation of the Strategy for International Youth Cooperation of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States for 2021-2030;
- holding the first Forum of Volunteers of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Kazakhstan;
- preparation of an information and analytical collection for the 20th anniversary of the activities of the Council for Youth Affairs of the CIS member states;
- activities of basic organizations of the CIS member states, etc.
As part of the work of the basic organization of the CIS member states - RTU MIREA, the activities of the "Electronic Library of a Youth Work Specialist" for 2024 and 2025 were presented.
Following the meeting, the Regulation on the Charter of the Council for Youth Affairs of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States was adopted.
The Charter will be a form of encouragement for special merits, demonstrated professional skills, innovation, significant contribution to the strengthening and development of international youth cooperation of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States, for active participation in organizing work with youth of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the activities of the Council for Youth Affairs of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
