In 2014, the UN General Assembly declared July 15 as World Youth Skills Day to celebrate the importance of educating young people on the skills they need to get decent jobs and engage in entrepreneurial activities.
The theme of Skills Day in 2025 is dedicated to youth empowerment through AI and digital skills.
