The CIS Executive Committee and the CIS member states' base organizations for youth work, youth entrepreneurship development, volunteer movement development, and scientific and methodological support for the youth volunteer movement.
The meeting addressed 12 key issues, including a presentation of the activities of the CIS member states' base organization for youth work and the preparation of an information and analytical compendium for the 20th anniversary of the CIS Youth Council.
During the discussion of the 2026 work plan, it was decided to consider holding a meeting of the CIS Youth Council in Moscow in the second half of 2026. The event will coincide with the 20th anniversary of the Youth Council and the 35th anniversary of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Also during the meeting, Stanislav Kudzh, head of the CIS member states' youth work organization, presented Kairat Kambarov, Chairman of the Committee on Youth and Family Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with a challenge cup for the Kazakh team's victory in the 2025 International Youth Cybersport Games "Commonwealth."
As a reminder, the Council was established in accordance with the Agreement of the CIS Member States on Cooperation in Youth Work of November 25, 2005. Meetings are held twice a year.
