Congratulations on World Youth Day!

10.11.2025

On November 10, 1945, shortly after the end of World War II, representatives of 63 countries founded the World Federation of Democratic Youth.

The Federation was created to promote cooperation among young people and to fight for their rights.

The most significant project born from the efforts of these united activists was the World Festival of Youth and Students. In March 2024, this large-scale event was held in Sochi.

Traditionally, lectures on current topics are held on November 10, charity events are organized, concerts, and festive rallies are organized.

Our library contains materials on the topic:

- Report of the World Youth Assembly: Youth and the Environment

- General Council of the World Federation of Democratic Youth: Declaration on the Crises, Reactionary Upsurge, Risks, and Opportunities of the Current Situation

- Implementation of the World Programme of Action for Youth

- General Council of the World Federation of Democratic Youth: Political Resolution
