On November 21, the awards ceremony for the winners of the final round of the International Youth Project of the Commonwealth of Independent States "100 Ideas for the CIS" took place in Astana.
Participants from eight countries submitted 50 projects in five categories:
- IT (11 projects);
- Medicine and Healthcare (12 projects);
- Education (6 projects);
- Rational Use of Natural Resources (10 projects);
- Social Sphere (11 projects).
Kairat Telmanovich Kambarov, Chairman of the Committee on Youth and Family Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Artur Melsikovich Martirosyan, Chairman of the Council on Youth Affairs of the CIS Member States, congratulated the competition participants.
The following project authors were named the 2025 winners:
"IT Sphere" - Omer Eyvazly and Murad Gasimov (Azerbaijan),
Alexander Vinokurov (Belarus), Numonjon Ibrokhimov (Uzbekistan).
"Medicine and Healthcare" - Ani Harutyunyan (Armenia), Bakhytzhan Sariev (Kazakhstan), Sunatullo Sharifov (Tajikistan).
"Education" - Roza Tserunyan (Armenia), Asanali Shomanov (Kazakhstan).
"Rational Use of Natural Resources" - Banu Ibragimova (Azerbaijan), Nuraida Zainishova, and Oksana Omorkulova (Kyrgyzstan).
"Social Sphere" - Fyodor Maslov (Russia), Salimkhan Sabitov (Kazakhstan).
As a reminder, "100 Ideas for the CIS" is a project aimed at engaging young people from the CIS countries in solving problems in the economic, scientific, and social spheres.
Since 2014, the project has been held every two years and consists of two stages: a national (qualifying) stage and an international (final) stage.
