In connection with the celebration of Youth Day of Tajikistan on May 23, the entire month in the capital of the Republic has been declared the month of youth.
This decision is aimed at implementing the state youth policy, supporting patriotic education and giving the Youth Day of Tajikistan a high cultural and educational level.
The program of events includes:
- scientific and practical conference "The role of youth in the implementation of the initiatives of the Leader of the Nation on water, climate and glacier protection";
- round table "Strengthening the family is the basis of a legal society";
- charity event "The Leader of the Nation - cares about our youth" to support young people with disabilities, orphans and youth from low-income families;
- gala concert "Tajikistan - the homeland of youth";
- cultural shows and concerts, sports competitions.
The purpose of the events: to create conditions for the development of youth initiatives, patriotic education and cultural education of youth.
Historical background: Youth Day of Tajikistan was established in honor of the meeting of President Emomali Rahmon with the youth on May 23, 1997. The holiday was officially established in 2003 at the first song contest "Surudi Sol".
