Summer school for young scientists of the CIS countries

The Summer School of Young Scientists of the CIS Countries dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet People in the Great Patriotic War will be held in Minsk from the 18th to the 22nd.

Participants are young scientists from:

Azerbaijan

Armenia

Belarus

Kazakhstan

Kyrgyzstan

Russia

Uzbekistan

The event will include:

- visiting seminars at the Khatyn and Masyukovshchina memorial complexes, the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, and the National Archives of Belarus;

- presentation of the monograph "The Peoples of the Soviet Union and the Great Victory. 1941-1945".

The school is organized on the basis of the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus  with the support of the International Foundation for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS with the aim of exchanging experiences and discussing the latest scientific approaches to the study of the history of World War II and the Great Patriotic War.
