On April 28-29, Volgograd hosts the International Forum of the Union State of Belarus and Russia "Great Heritage - Common Future".
The forum is attended by over 450 delegates from 20 countries, including representatives of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The main sections of the forum:
- patriotic education based on historical knowledge;
- preservation and protection of common historical memory.
A joint meeting of the Youth Chamber under the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia and the Youth Parliament under the State Duma of the Russian Federation was held within the framework of the forum.
The first day of the forum ended on Heroes' Square on Mamayev Kurgan, where the patriotic action
"Light of the Great Victory" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory took place.
The key event of the forum is the plenary sessions, uniting all delegates.
