A mixed healthcare model is developing in the CIS countries: compulsory medical insurance is being introduced, the independence of medical institutions is expanding, and a market for services is being formed. The desire to develop cooperation and exchange best practices in healthcare remains unchanged.
Experts from the Commonwealth countries have developed an Action Plan for the preparation and implementation of the Year of Health Protection (https://eccis.org/reestrv2/doc/7197#text ) consists of 10 sections, including about 100 events.
Main objectives:
▪️preservation of citizens' health;
▪️exchange of best practices and scientific developments;
Development of international cooperation (including with WHO).
Main directions:
- improvement of the regulatory framework;
- prevention of non-communicable diseases;
- improvement of primary medical care;
- joint scientific research and forums;
- exhibitions of new medical technologies;
- development of telemedicine and remote diagnostics.
