On February 17, 2004, the All-Russian Youth Public Movement "Russian Student Groups" (RSO) was established in Moscow at the All-Russian Forum of Student Groups.
Today, participation in the RSO is an opportunity:

- work in a team of like-minded people;
- contribute to major national projects;
- make friends for life;
- spend a bright and rewarding summer as part of the squad.
According to the data for 2024-2025, the number of participants in the RSO is more than 400,000 people.
Some areas of RSO activity:
- construction teams;
- teaching teams;
- groups of guides;
- service teams;
- agricultural units;
- medical teams.
The movement of student groups in Russia has more than half a century of history. During this time, more than 20 million people have passed through the school of student groups.
